Clue 1 is the same for everyone. Solve it and you get two personal riddles, different for every player. Find all three books in our stock online and you're in the draw.

How to play
- Solve the riddle. Its one-word answer is your key.
- Find the book in Browse Stock, or walk the shop on the Floor Plan.
- Click the book to open its shelf photo, tap 🔑 Hunt and type the key.
- Clue 1 unlocks your two personal riddles: enter your cell number and they're picked for you. Solve both the same way and you're in the R1000 cash draw.
The hunt is online only: the clues live on this website, not on our shelves in the shop.
The draw
R1000 cashgoes to one name drawn from all the entries. There's no limit on how many people can enter, and the quickest solvers get extra entries.
Everyone who solves it goes into the draw:
- 1st solver: 3 entries
- 2nd solver: 2 entries
- Everyone else who solves it: 1 entry
We draw the winner in the shop within 3 days after the hunt closes.

The rules
- Free to play, no purchase needed. One prize: R1000 cash, won in a draw.
- The hunt is played online only, on megabooks.co.za. There are no clues hidden in the shop.
- The hunt runs from 18 November 2026 to the end of 30 November 2026. Anyone who solves all three clues in that time can enter.
- One entry per person and per cell number. Your personal riddles are picked for your number, and your entry must come from that number (WhatsApp or the entry form).
- The 1st and 2nd solvers get extra entries (see The draw), in the order entries reach us.
- We draw the winner in the shop within 3days after the hunt closes and announce them here, with their permission. The winner collects the prize within 7 days and shows ID that matches the entry; if we can't verify the winner, we draw again.
- MegaBooks staff, their families and anyone who helped set up the hunt can't win.
